Not your typical barbering story...
After being in and out of school and college studying art Ahmed Alsanawi aka A-Star Barbers picked up his first set of clippers at 16 after not being able to find a barbershop he was happy with. Practicing on brothers, friends and neighbours and having no formal training or qualifications in barbering Ahmed began to hone in on his craft and passion for barbering.
After a short stint at a local barbers, and having built a reputation and large customer base, Ahmed Alsanawi aka A Star Barber opened his first barbershop in 2013 aged 20. In a short space of time, the barbershop has grown into a successful business and is home to professional footballers and walk-in customers alike.
Over the years A-Star has travelled across the world cutting footballers and celebrities hair whilst also making sure he spends time in his barbershop seeing his regular customers who have been with him on the journey since the start. With his finger on the pulse in everything men's haircare related, A Star became increasingly frustrated at the products available to him on the market.
In the Summer of 2020, whilst on holiday with his family, one of his sons asked him to put something in his hair that would make it smell nice and the only thing he could find to use was an Oud aftershave.
In that moment the idea “Fini” was born to combine the best fragrance with the best product. Over the following 2 years A Star began working on developing his own hair styling products whilst also focussing on having a distinctive Oud fragrance.
Reflecting A-Star’s barbershop in being “clean, honest and cool” Fini combines both the best ingredients for hair styling and finishing whilst also containing a perfumed OUD fragrance developed by A-Star himself, paying homage to his Arabic routes.
Why only look good when you can smell good…
Fini is the first hair product to be infused with an Oud Fragrance. After 2 years of testing and finding the most premium ingredients available they have released their first two products, Sea Salt Spray and Matte Past both with their distinctive trademark fragrance.
Both products are premium in quality and in fragrance and with nothing else like it on the market, it is sure to be a success.

Matte Paste
What is it?
FINI by A-Star is the first haircare product to infuse Matte Paste with an Oud and Black Poppy fragrance. The unique formulation has been developed over several years combining the best product ingredients along with the best fragrances.
What it does?
Our Matte Paste not only gives you that textured, matte finish but it also features our trademark Oud and Black Poppy Fragrance.
How to style?
Our Matte Paste can be applied to dry hair for a natural matte head look with a strong hold. Alternatively apply it to wet hair for more of wet look with that textured effect.
FINI by A-Star - look great, smell better.
Directions - Apply to hands and rub together to create a matte textured finish. Style as desired

Sea Salt Spray
What is it?
FINI by A-Star is the first haircare product to infuse Sea Salt Spray with an Oud and Leather Fragrance. Our unique formulation has been developed over several years combining the best product ingredients along with the best fragrances.
What it does?
Our Sea Salt Spray gives you that effortless beach hair look for longer hair or for shorter it provides a light hold whilst also combining our trademark Oud and Leather Fragrance.
How to style?
Our Sea Salt Spray can be applied to damp or wet hair and blow dried to create a look with more volume. Alternatively, it can be applied to dry hair to control any loose hairs to create more of a clean look.
FINI by A-Star - look great, smell better.
Directions - Shake well and spray through damp hair for maximum effect.
